Contribution Notice.

Contributing is voluntary. Your display name, country and Wall of Fame message are optional. Payment and ledger details are necessary to process a contribution, prevent duplicate cents and keep the public counter honest. You receive no product, prize, ownership or financial return.
What becomes public
After confirmation, the amount, numbered cent range, confirmation date and contribution page are public. If you choose to add them, your display name, country and public message may also appear on the feed, map, leaderboards or Wall of Fame.
If you leave the identity option off, the site shows Anonymous and no country. A payment provider or blockchain transaction may still contain information outside this website.
What we store
We store a contribution ID, payment method, status, amount, timestamps and assigned cent range. For iDEAL we store the Mollie payment reference. For EURe we store the public wallet address, transaction hash and network details needed to verify the payment.
We also store whether you chose a public identity, any optional public message, and the version and time of the notice you accepted. Messages can be hidden from public display if moderation is necessary.
What we do not ask for
This website does not ask for or store your bank login, card details, wallet seed phrase, private key or account password. Never share a seed phrase or private key with this experiment—or with anybody asking on its behalf.
We do not currently use advertising profiles or advertising cookies. We do not guess your country from your IP address; adding a country is your choice.
Who helps process it
Mollie processes iDEAL payments. Supabase provides the database. Base processes EURe transactions, which are visible on a public blockchain. The hosting provider may process ordinary technical logs such as IP address, browser information and request time for security and reliable operation.
The site currently loads fonts from Google and country flag images from a GitHub-hosted service. Those services may receive normal request information when their files load. Each provider handles information under its own terms and privacy notice.
Your choices
You can stop before paying. You can contribute anonymously, or choose a public display name and country. A public message is optional. The information needed to verify and record a contribution cannot be switched off if you want to complete it.
Accepting this notice confirms that you understand the voluntary nature of the contribution and the public display described above. It does not remove rights you have under applicable law or through a payment provider.
Retention and your rights
Records are kept for as long as reasonably needed for the experiment, fraud prevention, payment disputes, accounting and legal obligations. A public blockchain is operated outside this website, so the experiment cannot edit or remove blockchain transaction records.
You may ask what personal data is held about you, request correction, object to certain uses or request deletion where the law allows it. Accounting, fraud-prevention or blockchain records may have to remain even when public display is changed.
